GLWS NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
To be held at the Meridian Beach Hall – 285 Canal St. (*directions attached) at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 31st, 2024, (expected termination about 11:30 AM).
We plan a Zoom Video Link for those who cannot attend in person. We will provide the Zoom link on our website under News + Events > https://gulllakewatershed.ca/news-events/
Meeting Agenda Items:
Approve the agenda and minutes of the 2023 meeting
Status of Charitable application and pass a motion to ratify changes to our Society’s purpose and year-end (*see attachment):
Reports – President, membership, treasurer, communication …
Project status – stabilization filtration, aquifer pumping, drainage basin blocks
Public health report on swimming advisories
Any other unfinished business
New business
Nomination and election of Board and officers for the coming year

Volunteers are needed for the board, we are going into what will be a busy year and are losing a couple of critical board members due to moves or age so if you’re interested in the future the lake we would appreciate you letting our current president know if you are interested in serving by emailing Norval at norval1@shaw.ca.
