MISSION
Who WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The Gull Lake Watershed Society is a stewardship group of dedicated volunteers who monitor Gull Lake for water level, water quality, and overall health of the watershed ecosystem. We advocate for the lake with the Alberta Government, local municipal governments, and other interested parties. We explore, develop and initiate proof of concept ideas that may present elegant and practical solutions for concerns about the lake.
With water levels lower than they have been in years, the lake’s health is urgent — and everyone in our community has a role to play. We achieve this by mobilizing volunteers, partnering with local communities, and taking concrete action to protect and revitalize the lake and its watershed. Every initiative, every effort, and every voice contributes to a lake that is full of life — for people and nature alike.
