ABOUT US

Welcome to the Gull Lake Watershed Society — a nonprofit powered entirely by volunteers who care deeply about what’s happening to Gull Lake right now.

What started in 1998 as simple water sampling has grown into something much bigger. Over the years, we’ve watched the lake change — sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically — and those changes have brought our 2,500-member community together with a renewed sense of purpose: to understand what’s shifting, to restore the lake’s water levels, and to protect the watershed for the future taking shape around us.

We are families, farmers, cottagers, year-round residents, new arrivals, and long-time lake lovers. Each of us brings a different perspective, yet we’re all responding to the same quiet question rising from the shoreline:
What will Gull Lake become — and what can we do together to shape that future?

As volunteers, neighbors, and stewards, we’re committed to finding those answers.
This is who we are — and this is the moment that brought us together.
